RECONNECT 24: Expanding the Boundaries of PeopleSoft with eForms

The College of the Holy Cross has been brainstorming and building over the past couple of years, stretching the boundaries of how we’re using our PeopleSoft systems. One of our more intriguing projects has been the automation of Language Placement Exams for our students using GT eForms. We created 8 eForms – one for each language the College offers – that administer online placement exams and auto-enroll students in language courses based on their scores. Depending on the student’s particular use case and requirements, the forms include options to administer an exam, have the student respond to questions about their background with a specific language, or upload an essay/video attachment to demonstrate their knowledge of the language.
Regardless of whether you’re using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, our session will give you some food-for-thought into the kinds of automated solutions you can explore with eForms including performance evaluations, employee and supplier onboarding, and other logic-driven, multi-step processes. Features of our form that we’ll discuss and demo include logic to determine which action(s) to offer the student, a built-in timer that governs the amount of time that the user can interact with the form session, calculation of exam scores based on user responses, email notifications with data results, and automatic updates to PeopleSoft.
